The Ministry of ES reported that on August 30, at 11:57, the Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center was alerted that an explosion had been heard at the intersection of Khrimyan Hayrik and Garegin Nzhdeh streets in Gyumri city.
Two combat teams from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry ES went to the scene of the incident. According to preliminary data, a fire broke out in the area of the non-operational textile factory—burning grassland and litter.
The fire was contained at 12:38.
