Russian peacekeepers have already been deployed on the relevant section of the new route

Russian peacekeepers have already been deployed on the 4.7-kilometer section of the new Stepanakert-Goris route. In a conversation with "Armenpress," spokeswoman of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Artsakh, Victoria Petrosyan informed.

She states, "The temporary section of the new route connecting Artsakh to Armenia is wholly asphalted. It will work according to the same logic as the Stepanakert-Goris-Berdzor road. The new way is already operational until the construction of the main road section of the corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia. At present, Russian peacekeepers are stationed there and are monitoring.

According to the MTA spokesperson, the road will be serviced by relevant specialists throughout the year, and regardless of the weather conditions, there will be no problems with traffic.
