Germany donated 100 patient monitors and 4,000 pulse oximeters

First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan and Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Viktor Richter tested the donated pulse oximeters for the first time.

A monitor for 100 patients and 4000 pulse oximeters were donated to Armenia by the German government, with the support of the "EU Civil Protection Mechanism."

Lena Nanushyan emphasized such cooperation. "Although the epidemic situation caused by covid in our country is relatively stable at the moment, nevertheless, in the autumn, especially along with the reopening of educational institutions, an increase in the covid incidence rate is predicted. Such partnerships are critical during pandemics."

Ambassador Victor Richter noted that this donation is part of practical cooperation between the two countries in the health sector and will help to face possible challenges.
