The car overturned on the Drombon-Martakert highway, and the 16-year-old passenger died.
On August 27, at 10:40 a.m., a report was received at the operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police that a traffic accident occurred in the "Kemkesh" area of Martakert city, resulting in death. The operational teams of the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Martakert regional department of the ES state service, as well as the investigative team of the investigative committee and the medical staff of the emergency station, went to the scene.
It was found that around 10:25, 18-year-old resident of Martakert city E. O., driving an "Opel Astra" car, on the 33rd kilometer of the Drombon-Martakert highway, left the traffic lane of the road to the left and overturned. As a result of the accident, a passenger, A.Kh., a 16-year-old resident of Martakert city, died on the spot.
The driver was taken to "Martakert Regional Medical Association" with physical injuries. The initial cause of the accident was speeding. The investigation committee is engaged in the inspection.
