The construction works of Isahakyan-Gyumri and Yererukki temple highways are in progress

Shirak State Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan visited the Ani community today with the officials of the governor's office to learn about the progress of road construction works in the community with the state budget funds. The purpose of the visit is to supervise the work being carried out.

"Gyumri-Isahakyan road is of great importance, not only because it is a road of republican significance, but also because it is a road connecting several settlements in this area. The repair of the road will save time and resources; it is a significant improvement in the life of the village. This issue has not been resolved, when months ago there was dissatisfaction of the citizens due to certain provocations, we have fulfilled our promise, and the road repair works have started, the cover removal works are being carried out, after which the works will be carried out thoroughly," said Nazeli Baghdasaryan in a conversation with journalists.

The construction of the Gyumri-Isahakyan road, about 15 km long, has started from the worst part of the road, the Bagravani area, and now the demolition of the old pavement is being carried out. The carriageway will be thoroughly repaired, a new asphalt concrete cover will be installed, and the crossings and bridges on the road will be repaired.

The "Euroasphalt" company carries out the construction. In the conversation with the governor, the company's representative assured that they would be installed within the specified period; Nazeli Baghdasaryan also emphasized the quality of the works. The project's total cost is 3 billion 800 million; the government has already allocated 1 billion 997 million 335 thousand drams.

The government has allocated 300 million 264 thousand drams to overhaul the 2.7 km long section of H-93, /H-75/ - Yereruyki temple road of republican significance.

"I want to record that the total value of the two roads of republican importance, the works of which have started and the funds have already been allocated, is almost 2 billion 400 million drams. Everything is carried out with the means of the state budget, and we will be consistent that the budget funds are spent purposefully and without errors. In general, I want to point out that these parts of the Ani region and, more importantly, the settlements are the poorest in the state and need the attention and care of the state," the governor noted and informed that two more programs for the region were presented as urgent, which are already have been pre-approved. The first is the repair of the roofs of the apartment buildings of Ani Pemza; the next is the restoration of the Bagravani school, the replacement of windows and doors, and some improvement of the surrounding area. The governor also visited the Bagravani school, toured the school, and talked about the upcoming activities planned in the program.
