After the tragic explosion of the "Surmalu" shopping center, the RA urban planning, technical, and fire safety inspection body is conducting inspections in the neighboring "Petak." The information was reported to Radar Armenia by Elena Zohrabyan, the press secretary of the inspection body of the RA CCTFI, adding that the inspections are still in progress.
Zohrabyan informed that the employees of the inspection body would also conduct inspections at the Malatia fair, the Malatia gold market, the "Arinj" mall, and, according to the order, other significant trade points.
"Before that incident, the employees of the inspection body carried out inspections," he emphasized.
On August 14, due to the explosion of the "Surmalu" shopping center, 16 people died, and one citizen is considered missing.
The other day, Radar Armenia was informed by the inspection body that observation and research were carried out regarding compliance with technical and fire safety legal requirements at "Petak" LLC. As a result, the director of "Petak" company was subjected to administrative responsibility based on the violations of fire safety rules, and urban development norms, according to the characteristics of part 1 of Article 187 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
