The last Sunday of August is celebrated as Lake Sevan Day. This year, Lake Sevan Day will be celebrated on Sunday, August 28. The RA Ministry of Environment reports this.
"Every time you go to the lake, remember that Sevan is the second of its kind in the world, has unique flora and fauna and priceless natural monuments.
Lake Sevan is not just a resort but an ecosystem that needs the care of each of us.
By keeping the lakeside and the rivers flowing into the lake clean, by preventing fish theft and the relentless consumption of fish stocks, we will save Sevan with united forces," the message says.
