Press Secretary of the Investigative Committee Vardan Tadevosyan, in a conversation with Radar Armenia, said that one of those arrested in connection with the explosion in the "Surmalu" shopping center on August 14 is the deputy director; the other is the tenant and the warehouse operator.
Today, on August 26, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia announced that four persons were arrested, two under Article 357 of the RA Criminal Code and two under the second part of Article 165. Additional information will be provided regarding the details of the criminal investigation.
It should be noted that as a result of the explosion in the "Surmalu" shopping center, 16 people were killed, and one person is considered missing.
