"Mercedes" and a truck collided on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway. there are dead and injured people
On August 25, at 7:33 p.m., the Lori Regional Crisis Management Center received an alert that an accident had occurred at the beginning of the Yeghegnut-Vanadzor highway, and there were casualties. The help of rescuers is necessary.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of ES went to the scene of the incident.
It was found that on the 24th km of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi section of the M-6 interstate highway, a "MAN" truck (driver: D. O., born in 1964) and a "Mercedes" car (driver: A. M., born in 2002) have collided.
Before reaching where the rescuers were called, the driver of the "Mercedes" car and the passenger N. M. (born in 2004) were taken out of the vehicle by the local forces and taken to the Vanadzor Medical Center, where the doctors pronounced N. M's death. The driver's health condition was assessed as extremely serious.
The rescuers cut off the power to the "Mercedes" car, closed the gas cylinder valve, and transported the passenger's body to the ambulance.
