On August 25, at 04:14, an alarm was received by the "SOS SYSTEMS" fire alarm system to the National Crisis Management Center from the "URARTU" store on Yervand Kochari Street, Yerevan.
With the call of "1 BIS" due to the complexity of the fire, four combat units, one water tanker, the duty groups of the Department of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations, and the Department of Medical Support from the rescue department of the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications went to the scene of the incident.
The fire was isolated at 05:47 and extinguished at 06:21.
The roof of the store's storage area (about 140 square meters) and the economic goods stored inside (about 150 square meters) was burned. The fire was prevented from spreading to the store on the first floor and the gym on the second floor.
