On August 25, at 01:48, the National Crisis Management Center was alerted that a citizen was trying to commit suicide by jumping off the Davtashen Bridge in Yerevan.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the rescue department of Yerevan city of MES, the operative group of the national crisis management center, and the psychologist on duty of the psychological support department went to the scene.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, police patrol officers moved the citizen to a safe area. A psychologist provided psychological support on site.
