The Ministry of Emergency Situations summarizes the work in the "Surmalu" shopping center. In the period between August 14-23, 1133 rescue workers from the territorial and structural divisions of the National Security Service participated in firefighting, searching, and rescuing operations in the "Surmalu" shopping center.
"This tragic event shocked us all, which took 16 human lives. With our daily work with our way of life, we must correct and highlight all the problems and omissions that led to this painful situation. I want to thank all those who were by our side during these difficult days and give strength and patience to the fallen citizens' families, " said Minister of ES Armen Pambukhchyan on his Facebook page.
On August 24, the expanded headquarters decided to stop the search.
