On August 24, at 4:16 p.m., Tavush's regional crisis management center was alerted that a grassy area was burning in the village of Achajur.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of ES went to the scene of the incident.
The fire was contained at 18:20 and extinguished at 18:50. About 50 hectares of grassland were burned.
