To ensure safe traffic, the officers of the Yerevan Regiment of the Police Patrol Service regularly conduct enhanced service in the capital. The next one was on the evening of August 19.
The deputy head of the patrol service, police colonel Armen Matevosyan and commander of the Yerevan regiment Andranik Isakhanyan gave the last instructions to the line inspection of the patrols, after which the police officers went on duty. As a result, in a few hours, the patrols discovered 230 cases of traffic violations. In all cases, administrative offense records were drawn up.
7 drivers were driving drunk, 19 without a driver's license, 29 vehicles had not passed a technical inspection, 13 had no insurance contract, and 2 had tinted windshields.
Pedestrians crossing the street in non-defined areas were the focus of special attention of the patrols. 21 such citizens were found. Protocols regarding administrative offenses were drawn up against them.
During the enhanced and daily service, the patrols detect and bring to administrative responsibility persons who violate the rules of using tobacco products. During the improved service, 3 drivers using tobacco products in a public place and 12 drivers using tobacco products while driving were found. In addition, 3 persons were brought to territorial departments on suspicion of committing crimes.
