Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan

The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia has submitted a petition to the Supreme Judicial Council regarding the disciplinary action of Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan.
The reason for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the judge was the European Court of Human Rights judgment on May 18, 2022, in the case of Vardan Jhangiryan v. the Republic of Armenia.
The SJC has decided to schedule the session on August 25 at 15:15 in connection with the examination of the submitted petition.
