The man who broke into the municipality of Masis committed suicide. The RA police reported this.
"Policemen negotiated with the armed person; shots were fired during the negotiation. The special significance police department officers, led by the first deputy chief of the RA police, Aram Hovhannisyan, entered and found the body of 36-year-old Edward Margaryan with a headshot. He committed suicide. There are no casualties or injuries among the policemen," the statement said.
Earlier, we reported that a man armed with a grenade entered Masis City Hall and threatened to blow it up.
