The Kapan police department received information that a 39-year-old resident of Shahumyan street in Kapan is growing hemp in the territory of one of the closed joint-stock companies in Kajaran. On August 16, the criminal detectives of the Anti-Illegal Drug Trafficking Department and the Kapan Department of the Criminal Investigation Department found 6 cannabis plants in the back of the checkpoint of the mentioned company and a yellow-green, dried, crushed mass made of the same plant with a peculiar smell in the closet of the dressing room. The 39-year-old man admitted that the plant mass and hemp bushes are his and that he grew and processed the hemp for personal use. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
