Work was done non-stop throughout the night. After the last message, we found 6 more bodies. Armen Pambukhchyan, the Minister of ES of the Republic of Armenia, announced this in a conversation with journalists today. The minister added that at the moment, we have 16 dead and 17 missing persons.
"The number of missing people was 18. We received a call from a supposed missing citizen who is not in the country, is alive, and was not at the scene of the incident." emphasized the minister.
The head of the ES department mentioned that fire fighting work is not being done at the moment, but cooling work is being done because small fires are igniting from the cleaning of the rubbles. According to Pambukhchyan, at this moment, we can say search and rescue operations are being carried out in full.
"As long as there is a possibility that we can find a citizen under the rubbles, we do not use heavy equipment at once." added the minister.
