Luminous regions have appeared in the Indian Ocean

In the waters of the Indian Ocean, huge luminous circles sometimes appear, which are considered one of the most mysterious phenomena of nature. Their diameter can reach 200 meters, and their rotation speed can exceed 100 km/h. Bright rays of light spread outward from the center of each circle, which can illuminate the sea surface so brightly that it would be possible to even read on the deck of a ship. And then, as suddenly as they appear, they suddenly disappear.

This phenomenon was first officially recorded in 1879, when the crew of the English ship "Vulgar" witnessed an unusual sight: two massive rotating luminous discs appeared on both sides of the boat, moving in opposite directions. Fortunately, they did not cause any damage to the ship and faded away after a short time. Scientists, particularly biologists, have not yet reached a single, final explanation for this phenomenon.
