Rome’s most famous monuments receive millions of visitors each year. Still, the Palazzo Colonna, located in the historic center of the city, remains a place rarely visited by the general public.
The palace, which has belonged to the Colonna family since the 12th century, occupies four wings of an entire district in the city center, representing the family’s centuries-old heritage. The complex operates as a private house museum and welcomes visitors only on Fridays and Saturdays, for a few hours in the morning, in small groups.
The Palazzo Colonna is renowned for its extensive art collection, which features paintings, sculptures, and a diverse range of decorative art pieces. The centerpiece of the complex is the 76-meter Great Hall, which stands out for its impressive size, distinctive architectural design, and historical and artistic significance.
Radar Armenia presents a photo series of the interior of this rarely visited palace, revealing areas that are usually closed to the general public.
