Stolen historical jewels: what is known about the lost treasures of the Louvre (PHOTOS)

A large number of valuable items were stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday. The thieves, four people, entered the Apollo Hall in the attic of the museum, where the French royal jewels are kept. They broke through security displays and stole nine valuable items.
