The 69th Eurovision Song Contest has officially kicked off. Competing countries from 37 countries are competing in one of the world's largest venues. The first semi-final took place in Basel, Switzerland, on Tuesday, with 15 countries performing: Sweden, Ukraine, Slovenia, Iceland, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Albania, San Marino, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, and Norway.
Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine have advanced to the final.
Armenia's representative, Parg, will perform his song "Survivor" on May 15, the day of the competition's second semi-final.
The final will take place on May 17.
