Papal souvenirs in Rome (PHOTOS)

Like all major tourist destinations in the world, souvenirs abound in Rome. With the excitement surrounding Pope Francis’ funeral and the conclave to elect his successor, the most sought-after souvenirs these days are those related to the Pope.

Books, pamphlets, and prayer cards by the last three popes and others dating back to the mid-20th century are on sale. Their images have also appeared on snowflakes and dolls, and Pope Francis’s images have even appeared on nail clippers, bottle openers, and key chains.

Among the most sought-after and cheapest are the rosaries that the faithful used to pray in St. Peter’s Square while Francis was in the hospital in February and March.
