Mexican nuns and marijuana (PHOTOS)

In Mexico, where nearly two dozen states have legalized medical marijuana, one group has also run a successful small business selling CBD tinctures, oils, and creams online, making more than $500,000 last year.

But in Mexico, where the war on drugs has ravaged the country and the church is strong, the image of a marijuana-smoking nun is more of an act of rebellion. The nuns have their own Instagram, where they can be seen tending to cannabis, holding workshops, and participating in cannabis-related events.
