Radar Interview

"We don't have any provision of the constitution accepted by the people." Daniel Ioannisyan (VIDEO)

The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Conversation" program is Daniel Ioannisyan, the "Union of Informed Citizens" program coordinator.

He referred to constitutional reforms, the need for a new constitution, and Azerbaijan's speculations regarding the problematic nature of the declaration of independence in the introduction of the current Constitution.

According to Ioannisyan, the entire Constitution must be accepted by the people.

"We do not have a provision of the Constitution that the people accepted.

If the process of amending the Constitution is inclusive, the people will be blessed.

For the first time, we will have a constitution that the people established. We will have rules of the game, which were defined by the people, not by Serzh Sargsyan and Hrayr Tovmasyan."

According to him, the preamble of the Constitution is a toast. "The Constitution should not be a collection of toasts anyone can abuse as they wish."
