"The prime minister's shock therapy slows down the degeneration process." Hovik Aghazaryan (VIDEO)
The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Conversation" program is Hovik Aghazaryan, deputy of the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly. He referred to the work with the opposition, church-government relations, Armenian-Russian relations, and dismissals at the beginning of the year.
According to Aghazaryan, some figures among the opposition can be helpful in the work of the National Assembly. In response to the question about dismissals, the deputy noted that the government can corrupt anyone. "The prime minister's shock therapy helps to slow down the degeneration process. A similar way of working makes our work easier and slows the degeneration process."
When asked to what extent it is acceptable for a country with democratic values to have political prisoners, Hovik Aghazaryan said that he does not understand when and where the term political prisoner was born. "There are no political prisoners in Armenia."
According to his observations, interest often becomes such a driving force that spiritual leaders become politicians. "Garegin the Second is a politician, not a spiritual leader."
