According to Sargsyan, in the matter of water cuts, on the one hand, the decrease in the amount of water is doing its dirty work; on the other hand, the accidents of water lines. "This year, there were 8-9 significant accidents of water lines, which caused dissatisfaction among people. The PSC is conducting a study of the consequences of water cuts. We need more water and an old network of inherited water lines. Most of the water line accidents are related to emergency water consumption. The water network is still being prepared for expansion and is overloaded. The main reason for water line accidents is the age of the system.

Kamo Sargsyan, a Public Services Regulatory Commission member, informed that "Veolia water" submitted an application to leave the water tariff the same to the PSC.
