Radar Interview

"Erdogan will overcome the 50% threshold. ready for every step," Nelly Minasyan (VIDEO)

Turkologist Nelly Minasyan is the "Radar Chat" program guest at the Radar Armenia booth. He referred to the presidential elections held in Turkey. He talked about the results, the second round, the chances of Erdogan's victory, and possible regional developments if the opposition candidate is elected.

According to a Turkish expert, the chances of Recep Erdogan winning in the second round are increasing, "If we look at the ratio and the numbers the parties have stood on, it is noticeable that the difference is quite large. In my opinion, this was the maxim of the opposition. During the second round, when the election is between two candidates, it will be difficult for the opposition to exceed that threshold. We are talking about 2 million votes. In other words, Erdogan already has so many more votes, and he needs very few votes to overcome that threshold. If he doesn't win, there will be a third round, but I think he will win."

Nelly Minasyan also notes that unlike the opposition candidate, better known as the "Turkish Gandhi," Erdogan will take all kinds of steps.
