"There was an inflow of 600 million dollars from Russia to Armenia in February," Armen Ktoyan (VIDEO)

Economist Armen Ktoyan is the guest of the "Radar Chat" program at the Radar Armenia booth. He referred to the current state of Armenia's economy. He talked about the growth of the economic activity index, the inflow of foreign currency, and the impact and risks of the Russian-Ukrainian war on our economy.

"There is an unprecedented inflow of foreign currency. Moreover, if we look at it every month, this inflow is not only not weakening in recent months, but on the contrary, it is increasing. Before this Russian-Ukrainian war, the average inflow from Russia to Armenia was 80-100 million dollars per month; after the start of the war and in its most active stages, until the end of 2022, it reached 400 million dollars. According to the data of February 2023, there was the highest level of dollars and foreign currency from Russia to Armenia by individuals, in the order of 600 million dollars."
