The Foreign Ministry reported that political consultations were held in Berlin between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Germany, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and German Foreign Ministry Commissioner for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia Niklas Wagner.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, emphasizing with satisfaction the high level of relations between the two countries and the active political dialogue.
They exchanged views on joint steps to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas outlined in the Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership, signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany on December 9, 2025.
The interlocutors also addressed the agenda of the Armenia-EU strategic partnership and noted the active cooperation established on international platforms.
Deputy Minister Kostanyan presented to the interlocutor the regional opportunities expected to result from implementing programs aimed at developing economic interconnection under the conditions of peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the Washington Agreements of August 8, 2025, including the "TRIPP Path" project.
