Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the return of four Armenian prisoners of war from Baku and the return of Syrian citizens convicted of mercenary acts during the 44-day war in Armenia are unrelated.
“These two events are unrelated. We also want and are working towards further developing our relations with the Syrian Arab Republic, including the hope that this decision, which is a friendly decision towards Syria, will make the atmosphere around the Armenian community in Syria more favorable.”
