Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the Armenian-American TRIPP statement.
“This is the next cornerstone statement, by which one of the most important and principled issues of the peace process, the unblocking of regional communications, is resolved at the framework level, and all principled issues are addressed in it,” he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the meaning and practical significance of the Armenian-American statement is as follows: “Peace is being established in our republic and in our region with very concrete and practical steps, and it is already a practical reality.”
The Prime Minister also emphasized: “I want to reaffirm our political will. Within the agreed framework, we are certainly ready and willing. We will definitely proceed, including ensuring unhindered communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, in accordance with the principles we have repeatedly discussed. Our mood is that here too we must move away from the logic of conflict and come to the atmosphere and logic appropriate to peace.”
