Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that Turkey's involvement in the TRIPP project has not been discussed with the US side.
According to him, TRIPP will be a joint business activity of Armenia and the US.
"At the same time, of course, if we look at it in a broader context of de-blockade, it is obvious that only by lifting the Armenia-Azerbaijan blockade, opening the border and resuming the railway, the supposed new large logistics corridor between Asia and the EU will not be created and ensured. The de-blockade of Armenia will not be complete either. There is a conversation with Turkey in this direction, and it's constructive. I think we will have tangible progress and steps in the near future."
According to the minister, it is logical for Turkey to be part of the de-blockade and regional development process. Still, not specifically within the TRIPP framework, and this issue has not been discussed with the US side.
