Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan raised the possibility of involving the Russian side in the TRIPP project, noting that the issue has not been discussed.
“The framework of TRIPP is already quite clear,” he said.
According to the minister, the major deblockade will also benefit immediate or distant neighbors.
“We do not aim to exclude Russia in any way,” Mirzoyan said, adding that Russia is already represented in various infrastructures of Armenia, including the railway system, so Russia will not participate in TRIPP. Still, as a continuation of it or within the framework of other related activities, opportunities for cooperation may be created.
