Exchanged views with the UK Ambassador on opportunities for regional cooperation
On January 8, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ms. Alexandra Cowley.
The interlocutors discussed the results of the Secretary-General’s visit to the United Kingdom in December of last year and the progress in implementing the agreements reached. The parties expressed satisfaction with the consistent development and deepening of the multilateral relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom. They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to elevate bilateral cooperation to the level of a strategic partnership.
During the meeting, Armen Grigoryan and Alexandra Cowley also exchanged views on the opportunities for regional cooperation.
