The year 2025 was full of important events for Armenia, especially in the foreign policy sphere. The year was mainly marked by sharp developments in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
On January 14, the Charter on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States was signed in Washington. It was signed on the Armenian side by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and on the American side by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
