I hope there will be exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan. Prime Minister (VIDEO)

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that trade between Armenia and Azerbaijan would increase in the near future.

"The ban on wheat imports has been lifted, first for Kazakhstan, then for Russia. It was then recorded that there is no restriction on rail travel in the opposite direction from Armenia. And they are not going, because, in my opinion, the scale of our thinking and activities works according to the logic of a four-wheel drive," he said.

According to the Prime Minister, Azerbaijan has expressed its willingness to sell oil products to Armenia, and the train has arrived and appeared on the market. "And it would be strange if we did not express our attitude. I express this attitude, believe I am doing the right thing, and do so in different places so that it is recorded there. This is also important for the EAEU, because we have received a railway connection with the EAEU, which we did not have before," he said.

"I hope that in the near future there will be bilateral trade between Armenia and Azerbaijan; now there is an import from Azerbaijan to Armenia. I hope there will be an export from Armenia to Azerbaijan," he said.

According to Pashinyan, there is no political barrier, and businesses should reach an agreement among themselves. "If it turns out that the government needs to do something to make these agreements possible, we will do it."
