A few days ago, the first batch of oil products was imported from Azerbaijan to Armenia, and today, a train loaded with Russian wheat was sent to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
In an interview with Radar Armenia, political scientist Armen Vardanyan said that this process is a political step to bring the two sides' positions closer together.
"Because before establishing political relations, it is also important to have economic relations," stressed Armen Vardanyan.
According to the political scientist, at the moment, oil products are imported only through Georgia, and it is not ruled out that Georgia will create obstacles at some point, demanding high transit fees.
