RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska.
The interlocutors highly appreciated the dynamics of Armenia-NATO cooperation, emphasizing that the prerequisites for further deepening the partnership have been established through joint work. Minister Mirzoyan expressed hope that the approval of the new RA-NATO Partnership Program will create an opportunity to develop relations with a more ambitious agenda.
Reference was made to various RA-NATO cooperation programs, including those aimed at strengthening the RA's resilience and reforms. The partnership formed through RA's involvement in NATO peacekeeping missions was noted with satisfaction.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the normalization of relations with neighboring countries. The RA Foreign Minister highly appreciated NATO's support for the RA's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the peace established in the region. Thoughts were exchanged on steps toward further institutionalizing peace.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Radmila Shekerinskaya also discussed the opportunities created by the unblocking of regional communications.
