Grigoryan met with the UK Prime Minister's National Security Advisor

Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with Jonathan Powell, National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, in London.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom. They reaffirmed their mutual willingness to elevate the relationship to a strategic partnership. Armen Grigoryan and Jonathan Powell discussed several key issues on the agenda, outlining avenues for further cooperation.

The British side welcomed the agreements recently reached in Washington between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that they are essential steps towards the full normalization of relations between the two countries. The Secretary of the Security Council underlined the importance of institutionalizing the peace established in the region.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agenda.
