On December 16, in Luxembourg, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Claude Wiesler, President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies. The Chairman and members of the Foreign Relations Committee also attended the meeting.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that, as a result of joint, consistent work, bilateral relations have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership. In this context, reference was made to the Joint Declaration signed on the same day, which outlines the priorities of cooperation and also emphasizes the importance of interaction between legislative bodies.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude to the Luxembourg Parliament for its continuous support for Armenia.
Ararat Mirzoyan and the President of the Luxembourg Parliament also emphasized the readiness to implement programs that are part of the RA-EU strategic agenda.
Regional issues were discussed in detail at the meeting. Minister Mirzoyan presented the processes of normalizing relations with neighbors. They exchanged views on the opportunities for developing regional communications. They also touched upon addressing humanitarian issues.
