Hungary lifts veto on EU military aid to Armenia

Rikard Jozwiak, Europe editor of Radio Liberty, reported that Hungary has lifted its veto on the EU’s military aid to Armenia. Armenia will now have access to approximately $20 million in military aid under the European Peace Facility.

“This week, Hungary finally lifted its veto on the €20 million EU military aid package for Armenia (European Peace Facility) proposed in March. It will be made official in January. Budapest has blocked the Ukrainian package for almost three years,” Wozyak’s post says.
