Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan addressed Iran’s concerns regarding the TRIP project, emphasizing that it is a business initiative that will operate within Armenia’s full territorial integrity and in accordance with the principles of equality and reciprocity.
“We are constantly in touch with our Iranian partners and inform them about developments, we take into account their sensitivities and interests, and in this regard it is essential to note that the Iranian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated that this project takes into account their red lines,” Ruben Rubinyan said, emphasizing that official statements of any country should be taken into account.
“We take into account the vital interests of our neighbors, and in the case of Iran, these interests largely coincide,” Ruben Rubinyan emphasized.
