Armenia-EU cooperation to counter hybrid threats is not new. Foreign Ministry

RA-EU cooperation in various areas to strengthen Armenia's resilience, including countering hybrid threats, is ongoing and has not yet ended. In response to Radar Armenia's inquiry, the RA MFA Spokesperson Ani Badalyan noted that the question of whether Armenia has requested assistance for the upcoming elections in Armenia has not been raised.

According to the MFA spokesperson, in parallel with the development of the partnership, various initiatives aimed at strengthening the Republic of Armenia's democratic and economic resilience are being considered, developed, and approved.

"For example, the "Resilience and Growth" program, which is currently in the active phase of implementation, and the decision to deploy the EU mission in Armenia were adopted on this principle. "The cooperation to counter possible hybrid threats on the path to ensuring electoral processes in line with democratic standards, EU support, taking into account the experience and toolkit of the EU and member states in this direction, is no exception," he noted and confirmed that there are initiatives formed as a result of joint discussions in that direction, on which the public will be adequately informed when decisions are made.
