Trump has started using the same agenda as Russia. Political Scientist

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the peace plan should include five documents, including one on security guarantees, to be voted on and approved by the US Congress.

"This can be considered a precondition for Ukraine not to fulfill other conditions. For example, in terms of organizing presidential elections and ensuring a ceasefire," political scientist Norayr Dunamalyan said in an interview with Radar Armenia.

Touching on the question of whether this can deter Russia or whether it will remain at the level of political statements, the political scientist emphasized that this situation falls more within the framework of US-Ukrainian relations. "And the demand to hold presidential elections was initially put forward by Russia, and this demand has been presented for about 2 years," he said, adding that the US has recently started talking about it. According to Norayr Dunamalyan, Trump has adopted Russia's agenda.

"The problem is that today the structure that has existed since 2022, I mean international relations - US and EU support for Ukraine, that structure is collapsing," he noted, and emphasized that the problem is that negotiations are still underway between the US and Ukraine. "Russia, yes, is an important factor, but it represents more of a third party, and according to that, I would not say that there could be pressure or influence on the position in any way," the political scientist noted and emphasized that, on the contrary, Russia's demands, according to that, could expand further.
