We hope everyone will call it TRIPP, because that is the reality. US Ambassador
US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien gave an extensive interview to Civilnet, during which she also spoke about other interpretations of the name TRIIPP.
“We call the project ‘Trump Path to International Peace and Prosperity’ or TRIPP, and we encourage other countries to use it as well.
That is the name of the project. Using it helps to avoid confusion. We hope that everyone will call it TRIPP, because that is the reality,” the US ambassador said.
According to the ambassador, the focus of this project is now on rail connectivity, and the goal is for TRIPP to be multimodal eventually.
“This means that it can have other elements, but rail is the element that we are focusing on right now. There are other ideas as well: for example, a gas pipeline, a fiber optic cable, for electricity transmission. In other words, other ideas for multimodal transportation,” Kvien emphasized.
