The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasized the importance of further strengthening peace
On December 15, in Riyadh, within the framework of the 11th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan met with the High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos. The interlocutors discussed the current programs within the framework of the Alliance of Civilizations and Armenia’s involvement in them.
They exchanged views on preserving and protecting cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, and promoting youth involvement in various spheres of public life.
Touching upon the latest regional developments, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the importance of further strengthening and institutionalizing peace. The importance of implementing the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the RA Government and its essential component, the “TRIPP Path” program, was emphasized, grounded in the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of states, to unblock infrastructure and promote transport connectivity in the region.
