Significant results recorded in the development of the Armenia-EU partnership were noted (PHOTOS)
RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, at the invitation of EU partners, participated in a meeting held within the EU Foreign Ministers’ Council format.
The discussion, in the format of a working breakfast, was attended by the Vice-President of the European Commission, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, and heads and representatives of the foreign ministries of EU member states.
The meeting noted with satisfaction the significant progress made in developing the RA-EU partnership and exchanged views on upcoming tasks. Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated the support and consensus achieved in implementing the RA-EU strategic partnership agenda and various joint initiatives.
During the discussion, EU member states expressed support for Armenia’s democratic development, resilience, and efforts to counter hybrid threats. In the context of regional developments, EU member-state partners expressed support for unblocking communications and for further efforts to consolidate peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
