On December 12, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the heads of diplomatic missions of the European Union and EU member states accredited to the Republic of Armenia.
The meeting noted with satisfaction the significant achievements recorded in the development of the RA-EU partnership in 2025 and the active dynamics, and exchanged views on the priority steps and tasks planned for 2026.
“You are aware of the latest developments in Armenia-EU relations: about ten days ago in Brussels, we adopted the new strategic agenda of the RA-EU partnership. This is a fairly comprehensive document, which first of all enshrines the successes achieved in bilateral relations, as well as outlines the directions within the framework of which we intend to deepen our relations further,” Minister Mirzoyan emphasized.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the RA vision, perceptions, and proposals for further deepening the RA-EU partnership. The RA Foreign Minister highly appreciated the continuous support provided by the European Union and its member states to Armenia on the path of democratic development, and, among other areas, highlighted the progress made towards visa liberalization, which greatly promotes people-to-people contacts.
The RA Foreign Minister also presented the latest regional developments, including the normalization of relations with neighbors.
Minister Mirzoyan answered other questions of interest to those present.
