The Deputy Minister presented the latest regional developments

In Vienna, within the framework of the 32nd session of the OSCE Ministerial Conference, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan met with Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Robert Oliphant.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia presented the latest regional developments, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening and institutionalizing the established peace. In this context, Robert Abisoghomonyan stresses the significance of the "Crossroads of Peace" project of the RA Government and its essential component, the "TRIPP Path" project, for unblocking transport infrastructure in the region.

Issues related to the Armenia-Canada bilateral agenda were also discussed during the meeting. The importance of further deepening the political dialogue between the two countries was emphasized. The perspectives on cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade and economic matters, were touched upon.

Thoughts were exchanged on the 2026 regarding the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity to be held in Yerevan. Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan emphasized the Republic of Armenia's vision for organizing the Conference inclusively and effectively, with the full involvement of international partners and all stakeholders.
